Coilers

Product Categories

RCIcast® lines feature double coiler units of varying capacities to meet each customer's requirements. These units consist of two separate coilers mounted on the same stand. Each coiler is controlled by an independent AC control unit and has a separate accumulator. In addition, each double coiler unit is managed by its own PLC control system.

All units are equipped with geared motors, transmission equipment, and reel haul-off mechanisms. Coil speeds are adjusted via position control based on line speed.

The wax unit on the line applies a thin layer of wax to each wire exiting the casting unit before it reaches the coiler. This unit contains the wax tank, circulation pumps and connecting pipes.
